New to filmmaking? Create your own short film to submit to the festival. Get a crew together and create something worth showing the rest of your community! Watch this video.
ABOUT IYFF.
Starting in 2024, every year we will facilitate a festival only for the young filmmakers of Indiana! Throughout the festival, we will hold filmmaker talk backs, workshops, and q&a’s.
Ran just like a typical film festival, submit a film into the screening process! The filmmakers who are chosen will be able to showcase the film, have a q&a, and potentially win awards like Best Comedy, Best Drama, or Audience Choice. The filmmakers will be able to connect with other local creatives at a meet and greet, to ask for advice, guidance, or potential collaboration!
OUR VALUES.
We celebrate and elevate works by BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, women and other young individuals from traditionally marginalized communities. We aim to give young filmmakers a platform to present their work in the way it deserves to be watched.
